Terms of Service — Students

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or purchasing a course on VideoArtSchool.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make purchases, or enter payment information on VideoArtSchool.com. Students between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the Platform only if a parent or legal guardian creates the account, agrees to these Terms on their behalf, and manages all payment activity. By creating an account for a minor, the parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor's use of the Platform. Children under 13 are not permitted to use the Platform under any circumstances.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You may not share your account with others. You agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. VideoArtSchool reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Course Purchases and Access

When you purchase a course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access that course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not share, resell, reproduce, redistribute, or otherwise make course content available to third parties. Course access is tied to your account and may not be transferred.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on individual course purchases. If you are not satisfied with a course, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided you have not consumed a substantial portion of the course content.

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

• The refund request is submitted more than 30 days after purchase.
• A significant portion of the course has been viewed or downloaded prior to the request.
• The account shows a pattern of refund abuse (repeated purchases and refunds).
• The course was accessed via a promotional offer, gift, or bundle unless stated otherwise.

Teacher subscription plans are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. To request a refund, contact us at support@videoartschool.com.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Record, screenshot, download, or redistribute course content without permission.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Post reviews, comments, or messages that are false, defamatory, or harassing.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse refund or promotional policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content on VideoArtSchool.com is owned by the respective instructor and is protected by copyright law. The VideoArtSchool name, logo, and Platform design are the property of VideoArtSchool.com. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or intellectual property beyond the limited license described in Section 4.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform and all course content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. VideoArtSchool does not guarantee that any course will meet your specific learning objectives or result in any particular skill level or outcome. Instructor credentials and course descriptions are the responsibility of the individual instructor.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VideoArtSchool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course or service giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in New York.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes via email.
